| 1896 | The Aachen-based doctor, Josef Decker M.D., establishes his practice in Munich and rents a guest house to treat his patients. |
| 1898 | Now appointed court counsellor to the King, Dr. Josef Decker opens his first clinic in Türkenstraße 35. He gains a name for himself beyond city boundaries as a competent specialist for internal and gastro-intestinal conditions. His wife, Maria, takes care of the commercial aspects of the clinic. |
| 1905 | The clinic is now in Schwabing and has also become a sanatorium for internal diseases. It is the clinic of first choice and is held in high esteem particularly by the Russian nobility. University professor Dr. Adolf Schmidt is now head of surgery. |
| 1913 | Dr. Decker’s daughter, Marianne, marries the surgeon Dr. Hans von Bomhard, who takes over the surgical department. Son Dr. Rudolf Decker is a specialist for internal medicine as part of the now growing clinic team. |
| 1914/18 | During the First World War the clinic also acts as a military hospital. |
| 1918 | Transition from a purely private practice to a panel practice – from now on the clinic is also open to patients with statutory health insurance. |
| 1926 | The title of "privy councillor" (Geheimrat) is now bestowed on Dr. Josef Decker for his services. |
| 1935 | Dr. Josef Decker dies. The management of the clinic is assumed by Dr. Rudolf Decker. |
| 1941 | After Dr. Rudolf Decker’s death, Dr. Hans von Bomhard now heads the clinic. The department for internal medicine is managed by the internist and radiologist Dr. Clemens Bembé. |
| 1958 | The management of the clinic is now assumed by the founder’s grandson, Dr. Hanns Decker. As internist he continues the successful medical line of his predecessors. |
| 1960 | Dr. Helmut Dax becomes head of the surgical department. |
| 1968 | The clinic is extended by a new building. |
| 1992 | Dr. Wolfgang Decker, great grandson of the founder, takes over the management of the clinic. He continues the tradition of internal medicine in the 4th generation. |
| 1996 | Clinic Dr. Decker becomes a company with limited liability. The shareholders are Dr. Hanns Decker and his wife Eva. Management is assumed by Dr. Hanns Decker and his son Dr. Wolfgang Decker. |
| 1997/99 | Complete refurbishment of the entire clinic, in particular of the old Art Nouveau building which is now partly listed. |
| 2002 | Further development of the corporate identity. At the end of 2002 the clinic appears with a new name "Clinic Dr. Decker GmbH" and new logo. |
| 2005 | The new second operating theatre is put into operation. |
| 2006 | A new and ultra-modern angiography system extends the diagnostic spectrum of the clinic. |
| 2008 | Conversion from conventional X–ray image development to a modern, digital system. |
